Philadelphia’s most fabulous and philanthropic bingo game is celebrating a major milestone. Action Wellness has proudly announced the 30th anniversary season of GayBINGO!, with the beloved tradition returning to Congregation Rodeph Shalom on North Broad Street. The new season, which runs monthly from Saturday, September 6, 2025, through Saturday, June 13, 2026, promises an unforgettable lineup of over-the-top themes, show-stopping performances, and the dazzling energy of the legendary Bingo Verifying Divas (BVDs).
A Celebration of Community and Giving Back
For three decades, GayBINGO! has been more than just a game; it's a vibrant and inclusive celebration of joy, resilience, and community. The event serves as a crucial fundraiser for Action Wellness, an organization dedicated to supporting individuals living with HIV.
“We are so thrilled to celebrate the 30th anniversary of GayBINGO!," said Action Wellness Executive Director Mary Evelyn Torres. "This year signifies a remarkable milestone celebrating three decades of supporting individuals living with HIV, while providing a fun and inclusive atmosphere for all participants."
Torres highlighted the deep connection the event has fostered over the years, noting the mix of longtime attendees and enthusiastic newcomers who come together each month. "It’s truly inspiring to witness our community come together in celebration, solidarity, and support," she added, expressing immense gratitude for the volunteers, sponsors, and the fabulous hostess, Carlotta Ttendant.
What to Expect at a GayBINGO! Event:
Each GayBINGO! night is a spectacular production. Doors open at 6:00 PM, with the games kicking off at 7:00 PM with a grand performance by the BVDs. Throughout the evening, guests are guided by the hilarious hostesses, Carlotta Ttendant and Stella D’oro, with community leaders often joining the fun on stage to call numbers. At intermission, the BVDs take the floor again for show-stopping musical numbers that perfectly match the night's theme.
This year's themes are a mix of pop culture and fan favorites, including "Rocky Horror Picture Show," "Wicked: For Good," "Superhero Smash," and a special "Happy 30th Birthday GayBINGO!" night that will take everyone back to 1996.

Tickets for the new season are on sale now for $50 each. In a change for this season, tickets are available directly through the Action Wellness website at actionwellness.org/special-events/. Table sponsorships and group packages are also available by phone.
