DELAWARE - After the success of the first ocean view brewpub in the fall of 2018, the company has decided to expand. In early 2022, they are planning to open their second brewpub.
The brewpub will be located at 85 Atlantic Ave. in Ocean View, DE, will be SoDel Concepts’ 14th restaurant and second brewery. SoDel Concepts plans to open the Ocean View Brewing Company in early spring. The new restaurant/Brewery will have a similar layout and style to Thompson Island Brewing Company, including beach-influenced coastal food.
The Brewing Company will serve lunch and dinner and will serve exclusive beers. It will be a short drive from the other SoDel restaurants in southern Sussex County. In 2019, the company opened the Rehoboth brewpub, and recently won the coveted Delaware Brewery of the Year award. The concept will expand the brewery part of their business with the new 5,000-square-foot facility.
