It has registered more than 4.5 million new voters, verified 10.5 million voters’ registration status, and has helped over 39 million website users by providing registration links and deadlines, polling location details, and other essential voting information for each state. Vote.org also leverages its research-backed GOTV program each year, targeting underserved voters in regularly scheduled and special elections.

The boozy bake sale will feature confections from some of Philadelphia’s top bakers including:

  • Khoran Horn, Eat BLVCK, Stripp'd Juice, the forthcoming Guardhouse Cafe at the Frankford Arsenal Jack Peterson, Fine-Drawn Hospitality (Walnut Street Cafe, The Post, Sunset Social) Tova du Plessis, Essen Bakery Alexander Roman, High Street Philly

Sunset Social has been home to an array of events supporting community-driven programming, initiatives, and businesses in the wake of the pandemic. Founder of Fine Drawn Hospitality, Branden McRill, underscores the value of the open-air setting, “We are fortunate to have a space that enables us to safely host such important initiatives for our community -- especially during this pivotal time in America’s history. Voting options should be accessible to everyone and we’re grateful to have a forum to spread awareness and share information.” Driving voter registration is especially crucial this year, with many Philadelphians being unable or less inclined to visit the polls amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jordan Salcito, founder of RAMONA and a veteran of the wine industry, hails from esteemed restaurants including Eleven Madison Park and Momofuku. When creating RAMONA, her goal was to build a socially conscious brand with a culture of empowerment that emphasizes finding and using your voice. RAMONA’s core mission includes leaving a positive trail of disruption by surprising, delighting, and improving the communities it serves. Salcito urges voters to be prepared and speaks to the empowerment Americans should feel when making their voices heard during election time, “Make a voting plan today — this is our most powerful tool in creating the world we want for ourselves and our loved ones.”
