Philadelphia, PA - Rhys Hoskins, Philadelphia Phillies' first baseman, underwent surgery to repair a ligament tear on his left elbow last week.

Rhys Hoskins Elbow Surgery

Hoskins's non-throwing arm collided with a baserunner on Sept. 12, injuring his ulnar collateral ligament against Miami. Dr. Steve Cohen performed surgery on Hoskins's elbow Friday, and the Phillies expect him to return to active status in four to six months.

Hoskins had a.245 batting average with 10 homers and 26 RBIs during 41 games during the 2020 Phillies Season.
