New York - After a disappointing season, the New York Giants have fired offensive coordinator Jason Garrett. The team's offense only scored more than 30 points once since Garrett joined the organization. In addition, the team has been held under 20 points in half of their games, losing all five. Despite this, the Giants' offensive production has been inconsistent over the last year and a half.

The Giants were last in the NFL in scoring offense and were only able to score 10 points in the loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week Six of the season.

The team has only scored 189 points this season. The Giants have lost five of their last seven games, combining to score only 65 points. The Giants' red zone performance has been especially concerning, finishing 31st in scoring. The team has struggled to get the ball to the opposing team's receivers and has made just one touchdown in their last four games. However, this situation could change when new head coach Joe Judge takes over in 2020.

The Giants' offense has failed to produce enough offense to compete with the top teams in the NFL. While Garrett has a decent background as an offensive coordinator, he has failed to produce much in terms of success. The Giants were 31st in points scored last season, and this season, Garrett's offensive scheme was unable to provide any. The team needs to get better at putting its players in the best possible position to succeed. The Giants were a mess when Garrett was in charge.
