PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Eagles 2022 outlook is a bit mixed. With the loss of Zach Ertz, overall production could dip. However, the team has added pass-catching weapons such as Jack Stoll, who will try to establish chemistry with Jalen Hurts. Additionally, the Eagles have added depth to their offensive line, adding Cam Jurgens and Nakobe Dean.
The Eagles still have some key players that could help them make a deep playoff run. For instance, they acquired Antonio Brown, who is expected to improve the Eagles' wide receiver group and give QB Jalen Hurts the opportunity to become a franchise quarterback. Additionally, they should be able to use the playmakers they already have, such as Reddick and Graham, to enhance their secondary pass rush.
While Philadelphia's schedule is tough, the team could finish 8-2 or 7-3 before Thanksgiving. The toughest stretch of the season comes from Nov. 20 to Dec. 4 and includes trips to Indianapolis and Green Bay. They also play in prime time against Tennessee and Dallas. Then, they have a few home games against the Giants and Saints to end the season.
Cornerbacks are another key position to keep an eye on. Anthony Harris and Marcus Epps both look to improve. In addition, Jaquiski Tartt has signed with the Eagles and maybe a solid backup. However, the Eagles will also need to add more talent to the defensive line. They will likely be able to find a starting lineup that has a solid safety group.
