PHILADEPHIA PA - The Philadelphia Department of Public Health reported that the city had achieved its 70% target rate of vaccinated adults. With ruffly 14,711 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine having been administered in Philadelphia since Thursday, June 17.


Bringing the total number of fully vaccinated adults to around 693,885 and the number of Philadelphians with at least one dose to approximately 874,278. This brings the number of fully vaccinated adults to 55.9 percent and 70.4 percent of Philadelphia adults who have received one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

In other good news, only one percent of COVID-19 tests in Philadelphia have come back positive in the last two weeks. In addition, the city is now only averaging 30 new cases of COVID-19 per day during the previous two weeks.
