PHILADEPHIA PA - On Friday, May 7, 2021, D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc, America’s Oldest Brewery, will send its 192-year-old secret family recipes off to be brewed at Molson Coors’ Fort Worth, Texas brewing facilities. The three-day journey via armored truck will begin at the iconic Pottsville, Pennsylvania brewery and officially marks the start of Yuengling’s westward expansion.


 

Milestone Sendoff Marks the Official Start to America’s Oldest Brewery’s Westward Expansion

Yuengling’s 6th Generation leaders will seal their family recipe book in a secure wooden crate and carefully load it into the truck along with Yuengling’s proprietary yeast strain to ensure the iconic beer is brewed to Yuengling’s high-quality standards in Texas. The truck will be locked up to secure the items for its trip down to Molson Coors’ Fort Worth, Texas brewing facilities, where they will produce Yuengling’s exceptional products later this year.
