PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia's food scene is getting ready to shine brightly on April 29th as the Careers Through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP) brings back its annual Philly Pheast benefit. This evening promises exceptional food and a vibrant atmosphere and supports an essential cause: nurturing the next generation of culinary talent.

C-CAP, a workforce development nonprofit, empowers underserved youth nationwide with culinary skills, job readiness, and pathways to higher education. The Philadelphia region's C-CAP works with 1,800 students across 22 high schools, making a significant impact.

Philly Pheast uniquely blends the talents of renowned chefs and ambitious C-CAP students. The evening begins with a cocktail hour featuring live music and exquisite hors d'oeuvres. This year's exciting twist? Each appetizer results from a collaboration between a C-CAP alum chef and a student from their former high school.

The culinary journey continues with a multi-course, family-style dinner showcasing the artistry of top Philadelphia chefs Dionicio Jimenez (Cantina La Martina), Justine Macneil, and Ed Crochet (Fiore Fine Foods), and Treley Parshingtsang (White Yak).

Philly Pheast includes a silent auction filled with fantastic prizes. Bid on incredible experiences like a 7-course chef's dinner, Omakase seats, Eagles tickets, "Best of Philly" packages, and even a chance to be a guest judge at a future C-CAP Cooking Competition for Scholarships!

C-CAP's commitment to student success culminates in the awards ceremony, where students who excelled in the 2024 scholarship competition receive funds to fuel their culinary dreams at prestigious institutions.

You can be part of this fantastic evening! Purchase tickets or become a sponsor at https://ccapinc.org. The event takes place on April 29th at The Pyramid Club. Your participation directly supports the future chefs of Philadelphia.
