PHILADELPHIA PA - Ardmore Initiative announces a fascinating surprise that will delight foodies on the Main Line and help support restaurants in their recovery. For the first time, Ardmore Restaurant Week will feature Picnic in the Plaza - a pop-up event on Saturday, May 8 and Saturday, May 15, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The surprise event was approved recently by the commissioners in Lower Merion Township through a waiver to allow the consumption of cocktails to go and food in the Schauffele Plaza (99 Cricket Terrace) with reservation times at 5:00 pm and 6:30 pm.
Patrons who want to enjoy the beautiful weather or who aren't ready to dine inside yet can get their take-out food and cocktails to go and enjoy outdoor seating in Downtown Ardmore's main outdoor public space.
