CLARION, PA, – Mechanistic Brewing Co., a renowned craft brewery known for its scientific approach to beer-making, is excited to announce its upcoming Oktoberfest celebration on Saturday, September 23, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at its Clarion location. The event will feature the release of a new Octoberfest (Marzen) beer and an array of traditional German foods for beer enthusiasts and food lovers alike.


Founded in 2019 by George and Chelsea Alexander, Mechanistic Brewing Co. has quickly gained recognition for its commitment to using chemistry to recreate classic beer styles while experimenting with more contemporary flavors. The brewery offers a rotating menu of eleven unique drinks on tap and will release a special beer crafted specifically for the Oktoberfest celebration.

In addition to the unique brews, attendees can also look forward to savory beer-braised bratwursts prepared and served by the Rotary Club of Clarion, authentic pretzels by Penns Woods Pretzel Co., and artisanal pies from Polka Dot Pie Shop. The celebration will also feature live music from local Clarion artist Hillary at 2 p.m., followed by The Vagabonds playing polka music from 5-8 p.m., as well as a Photo Booth in a converted RV provided by Wanderlust Event Rentals from Punxsutawney all day long.
