ARDMORE – Char & Stave Coffee, Ardmore’s newest full-service Café-by-day And Cocktail Bar-by-night, is thrilled to announce that, in celebration of National Coffee Day on Thursday, September 29, baristas will be handing out free coffee all day during shop hours of 7 am to 11 pm. Each guest can walk out with one complimentary 12 oz. serving of medium roast drip coffee made with Char & Stave's Everyday Blend, roasted using beans from Peru and Costa Rica. Cash tips for baristas are still highly encouraged.
Char & Stave, the chic cafe, cocktail hotspot, and bottle shop located in the heart of Ardmore helmed by Bluebird Distilling Founder and Master Distiller Jared Adkins, celebrated its grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony in March of this year. Since launching, the team of expert baristas and bartenders have been wowing regulars and new visitors alike with artisan coffee beverages, mocktails, and coffee-centric cocktails made with Char & Stave’s own roast coffee (and Bluebird Distilling spirits, where applicable). The team is thrilled to participate in its first-ever National Coffee Day special.

Char & Stave has recently begun to welcome the after-work crowd to enjoy buzz-worthy Happy Hour specials for the first time, offered Monday – Friday from 4 – 6 pm. Specials include $3 off all Drips and Drams (mocktails and cocktails, respectively), $9 Highballs, 50% off all Flights, 25% off all pastries and rotating weekly features, and $7 citywide. A standout cocktail is the Lucky Ardmore, crafted with steaming Char & Stave coffee, Bluebird Distilling Four Grain Bourbon, and topped with hand-whipped foam, orange bitters, and just a touch of raw sugar, also just $7. In addition to the steamy Happy Hour specials, the team at Char & Stave continues to host popular weekly Quizzo Nights every Tuesday from 7 – 9 pm. Attendees can expect topics ranging from pop culture to history to music while enjoying the full menu of Char & Stave Drips, Drams, and coffee beverages, with prizes spanning Char & Stave gift cards and other fun surprises. Admission is free; space is limited. Must be 21+ to attend.
Coffee drinkers can get their fix or take a load off at the cozy Char & Stave coffee bar beginning at 7 am during the week, and 8 am on the weekends, with a selection of classic and nouveau breakfast beverages spanning everything from traditionally brewed coffee to Char & Stave’s signature barrel-aged espresso, Nitro Cold Brew, Nitro Draft Lattes and a Whiskey Smash Latte, along with a bevy of pastries and baked goods from local purveyors. A selection of signature cocktails and mocktails are available to enjoy throughout the day and into the evening.
