ALLENTOWN, PA - If you have a family, or are planning to visit this city for the first time, there are many things to do in Allentown. This eastern Pennsylvanian city is home to the Liberty Bell Museum, which contains a full-size replica of the famous bell and a history mural. You can also check out the Allentown Art Museum, which showcases Renaissance and modern American art. There's also America On Wheels Museum, which features vintage automobiles. The city also boasts Coca-Cola Park, home of the IronPigs Minor League Baseball team.


Haines Mill Museum

The Haines Mill, also known as Haines Mill Museum, is located in South Whitehall Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. The stone mill was built in about 1840 and is a three-bay, four-story, slate-covered gambrel building. The mill is 42 feet by 46 feet 9 inches. It is worth a visit if you have never been. If you're interested in learning about the mill's history, you'll be glad you did.

The museum is open for a few months a year, usually from May through September. Public tours are available on weekends. Guided tours can also be scheduled. The Haines Mill is a registered historic site in the US. Located near Allentown, this place is worth a visit if you're in the area. Canal Park

You can get some exercise in the great outdoors by visiting Canal Park in Allentown, Pennsylvania. This small wooded park is located on the Lehigh River and serves as the Weissport Trailhead for the Delaware & Lehigh Trail. There are plenty of trails that you can follow, and you can see the historic buildings and canal locks that once dotted the Lehigh River. If you're feeling adventurous, take a bike ride to Sand Island from the park.

In addition to the existing lake area, Canal Park also features additional open space in the County Park System and a parking lot. Visitors can also take a boat tour through the park or enjoy a picnic by the lake. A short drive away from the park, Independence Hall is the closest Unesco world heritage site. There are plenty of other things to see and do in the area. It is a great place to go with the whole family.

Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom

If you love roller coasters, you will want to visit Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom in the Lehigh Valley in eastern Pennsylvania. This amusement park in Allentown is a great place to go with the entire family. The park offers seven roller coasters, various rides, and an exciting waterpark called the Wildwater Kingdom. This park has something for every type of thrill seeker.

The park has several hotels, including Comfort Suites Allentown, Howard Johnson Allentown, Holiday Inn Express & Suites Allentown, and Wingate by Wyndham Allentown. You can also book a room at the park to get the most out of your visit. The park is typically less crowded on Mondays, but weekends are busier. To avoid crowds, plan your visit for late summer or early fall.

Liberty Bell Museum

If you have never been to the Liberty Bell Museum in Allentown, Pennsylvania, you're missing out! This nonprofit organization is located at Zion's United Church of Christ in Allentown, Pennsylvania. This is an opportunity to see the bell itself and learn more about the history of the United States and its founding. While you're in town, be sure to take the time to check out the museum's other exhibits as well.

There is also a replica of the original Liberty Bell. In fact, the bell was first read in Allentown. A worker at the museum gave a presentation about the bell's time in Allentown and the American Revolution. We were particularly interested in the bell's journey, which rang thirteen times during its discovery. We were able to hear it ring amid the historical presentation.
