PHILADELPHIA, PA - The Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation hosts their 6th annual Sandy Sprint Sea Isle City Run/Walk. The run/walk will take place on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Excursion Park (2 41st St, Sea Isle City, NJ 08243) to raise awareness of ovarian cancer and funds to advance research.

The foundation has hosted a run/walk in Philadelphia every April for 18 years and counting but has recently started hosting one at the Jersey shore to bring awareness to more people about ovarian cancer.

Ovarian cancer is the fifth leading cause of death among women in the United States. It is the most deadly of gynecologic cancers. In the United States, over 22,000 women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer this year, and nearly 14,000 will pass. The Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation has raised over $5 million in research grants and has educated millions about ovarian cancer.

“Awareness drives research. We believe in a future without ovarian cancer, and we will continue to fight to end it.” - Robin Cohen, Co-Founder and CEO of The Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation.
