PHILADELPHIA, PA – In celebration of its 65th anniversary, Famous Monsters, the iconic Monster Brand established in 1958, is hosting a spectacular three-day event at Valley Forge Casino Resort located in King of Prussia, PA from October 13 to October 15, 2023.
This horror and pop culture-themed convention brings together some of the industry's top celebrities and vendors with fans to take photo-ops, attend informative panels, buy autographs, fun merchandise, and more! Legendary guests who will be attending this event include Ozzy Osbourne; Sharon Osbourne; Jack Osbourne; Kelly Osbourne; Kane Hodder from the Friday the 13th series; Bonnie Aarons from The Nun, David Patrick Kelly from The Warriors and more!
The convention will also feature exclusive classes led by industry pros, including John Russo, co-creator of "Night of the Living Dead," and packed vendor halls with some of the most in-demand unique horror merch. Other activities include engaging panels, parties, costume contests, and much more.
The event was initially planned for Las Vegas. Still, it was moved to Philly because it is the home of James Warren – co-creator of Famous Monsters magazine – who will be making a rare appearance at this historic event. Famous Monsters Festival will take place at Valley Forge Casino Resort on Friday, October 13th from 6pm – 11pm; Saturday, October 14th from 11am – 7pm; and Sunday, October 15th from 11am – 5pm. Several ticketing options are available, including General Admission Single Day Pass ($35 -$45), “SHREIKend” 3 day pass ($80) and “RIP” exclusive package ($225).
