PHILADEPHIA - A Two-Car Crash Knocks Out Power in Northeast Philadelphia has knocked out power for nearly 2,000 customers, putting them in the dark for hours.


The collision happened about 5:30 p.m. at Frankford Avenue and Knights Road in the Torresdale section. The impact sent both cars into a utility pole. In addition to knocking out power, the incident left some residents without heat or power, luckily no one was injured, and all residents have their electricity back. The power was restored by 8:30 p.m.
