PHILADEPHIA - A 15-year old girl was shot twice in the head at The Jerome Brown Playground basketball court located on the 1900 block of West Ontario in Philadelphia sometime before 9 p.m. by a gunman who opened fire in the playground.
The 15-year old was playing basketball at the time of the shoots at the playground in Philadelphia’s Nicetown section of Philadelphia. When the gunman fired at least six shots. The grid also lived a block away from where the shooting occurred.
Hitting the girl twice, once on the side of her face, once in the head. The victim was taken to Temple University Hospital.
No arrests have been made so far. However, police have reported that up to 10 people were seen on surveillance footage at the scene.
