PHILADELPHIA - Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia today announced that The Prime Rib® will open to the general public at the new gaming and entertainment destination on Wednesday, February 24, 2021.
For more than 20 years, The Prime Rib was a beloved feature of Center City. The top Zagat-rated steakhouse now has a luxurious new home at Live! Casino & Hotel with the same award-winning menu and a revamped design. Reservations will be available starting February 15 at PrimeRibPhilly.com
The Prime Rib is set to become the definitive steakhouse experience in the Stadium District. Located adjacent to the main casino floor near the entrance of the hotel lobby, The Prime Rib is classically comfortable. The space is defined by wood, marble, and leather, and elevated with smoked mirrors and brass fixtures. Elegant drapery provides privacy and a touch of luxury, and two private dining rooms—with cherry wood tables, velvet dining chairs, a wine wall, and floor-to-ceiling windows—elevate the ambiance for groups. At the same time, the restaurant’s vibe is upbeat, driven by live music and a bar and lounge area with cocktails crafted with showmanship, while table-side service gives guests an entertaining demonstration of the culinary team’s skills. Guests will also find a cocktail bar tucked away from the main dining area off of the hotel lobby for a more intimate setting.
The stylish design will set the stage for an incredible dining experience led by Head Chef Theodore Iwachiw. Chef Iwachiw has trained in top international kitchens and is bringing the craft necessary to make steakhouse standards sing. Prime rib, filet mignon, ribeye, porterhouse, and New York strip make for a steak lover’s dream, while veal chops, lamb, and seabass, along with other seafood specialties, showcase an impressively subtle and refined talent in the kitchen.
