PHILADELPHIA - STARR Restaurants is giving Philadelphia’s frontline medical workers a new reason to celebrate this holiday season by gifting 1,200 complimentary meals to Penn Medicine hospital staff at Pennsylvania Hospital, Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania on Friday, December 25th – Christmas Day.


 

Starr RestaurantsAs a thank you for all the tireless hours, hard work, and dedication to fighting the COVID-19 virus, STARR is treating 1,200 frontline workers to the ultimate holiday feast by STARR’s comfort-food staple eatery, Jones. Each meal kit is complete with roasted turkey and gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans, cranberries, and special Christmas cookies.

STARR Restaurants will provide enough meals for 400 workers per hospital. The STARR Restaurants team will begin the day at Pennsylvania Hospital, dropping off the first set of meals at 10:00 a.m. Once all 400 meals are distributed, the team will then head to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center followed by the Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania.
