Philadelphia, PAHigh Street Hospitality Group, founded by James Beard Foundation Award-Winning Restaurateur Ellen Yin, is proud to announce the debut of the new High Street Restaurant and Bar in Philadelphia's Washington Square West neighborhood. The full-service restaurant and bar features a menu anchored by locally sourced grains across pizzas, pasta, and breads, highlighting seasonal Mid-Atlantic produce and meats, fish, and cheeses.

“We are so excited to debut the new, more grown-up version of High Street. The addition of the 14-seat bar is all-new for the High Street concept, and we look forward to offering that new experience to guests with cocktails powered by local spirits, domestic wine, and zero-proof cocktails. On the food side, guests will notice a more concise menu that reflects how most people want to eat — snacky, family-style, comforting plates,” said Ellen Yin, founder and co-owner of High Street Hospitality Group.

The 1,350 square foot space home includes 38 restaurant seats at the bar plus an open bakery for baking classes. The menu features dishes such as Hand-Rolled Pici with little neck clams, Steak Tartare Toast, Lamb Meatballs, Delicata Squash Pizza, Brussels Sprouts, and Rye Cannoli, plus a four-course prix fixe menu “Leave it to Us” option with an optional cocktail or wine pairing. The bar program includes seasonally driven cocktails from $13-$16 created by Harry Jamison, plus an exclusive American wine program developed by Frank Kinyon.

The space also houses The Back Room – a 35-seat private event space with its own Chestnut Street entrance – perfect for daytime or evening corporate events or social gatherings. Over the next few months, renovations will occur at High Street Bakery for a refreshed grab-and-go menu with laminated pastries and a coffee program led by Head Baker Delilah Pergola.
