Philadelphia, PA – Dock Street Brewing Company, Philadelphia's award-winning woman-owned and operated original craft brewery founded in 1985, celebrates the onset of fall with Docktoberfest at Dock Street South in Point Breeze on Saturday, September 30, from 2-4 pm.

Kicking off at 2 p.m. in the Brewery Room (accessed via the garage entrance off 22nd Street), attendees can showcase their strength for a chance to win a Dock Street "swag package" during the Stein Holding Competition. Following the competition, at 3 p.m., a Society Hill Dance Academy instructor will lead attendees through a 30-minute polka dance lesson. The brewery room will be open for the remainder of the afternoon, so attendees are welcome to hang out — and it’s dog-friendly!

Tickets for Dock Street’s Docktoberfest are $50/person and includes:

One (1) Dock Street Logo Stein, 1 Liter.
    One (1) stein-full of beer  - 1 liter. (Refills are $12)
    Soft Pretzels
Entry into the Stein Holding Competition
30 minute Polka dance lesson with Society Hill Dance Academy

Pints — or steins — of Dock Street’s recently released Docktoberfest will be available all afternoon. This 5.8% golden-colored medium-bodied Festbier has a fresh bread aroma and flavor that leads to a crisp, thirst-quenching finish, brewed with Weyermann Pilsner, Vienna, and Munich malts. For those who can’t attend the event, Docktoberfest is now on tap at Dock Street South and Dock Street Fishtown while supplies last.
