PHILADELPHIA - Urban Farmer, Philadelphia’s “rustic chic” modern American steakhouse, is partnering with Sly Fox Brewing Company to ring in the changing of the seasons with a very special dinner celebrating Oktoberfest. As a spiritual successor of Urban Farmer’s ongoing Beer-BQ series, the outdoor beer jubilee will feature beer-infused dishes, live music, yard games, and more – on Thursday, September 22nd, from 4 pm to 8 pm.

Beer and brat lovers are invited to join Urban Farmer on the patio, overlooking Logan Circle and the beautiful Swann Memorial Foundation, for an evening celebrating the impending leaf change and the beloved German Holi-fest. Guests will enjoy live music from Call Me Felix while playing cornhole on the patio.

Urban Farmer’s grill masters will be turning out brats and dishes made with beer from Sly Fox Brewing Company, including:

Bratwurst & Weisswurst ($19), poached in Helles Golden Lager with a side of braised red cabbage
Whole Roasted Chicken Leg ($18), marinated in a Macht Schnell Kölsch brine
Pork Schnitzel ($20), with an Oktoberfest brew sauce

The dishes will be available separately à la carte and as a platter ($53), accompanied by house-made sauerkraut, pickles, German potato salad, and pilsner mustard. In addition to the beer-y plates, all the Sly Fox beers used in preparation will be available on draft, as well as their Royal Weisse Hefeweizen and Pikeland Pilsner.
