PHILADELPHIA - Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurants is teaming up with CureSearch to help fight childhood cancer by releasing a new Chocolate Peanut Butter Porter. Founders Kevin Finn and Mark Edelson, as well as restaurateur Kevin Davies, is intimately aware of the challenges faced by those who suffer from childhood cancer. Mark Edelson's wife is a pediatric oncologist and completed her fellowship at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, DC. During that time, she worked under the guidance of Dr. Greg Reaman, who served as the inaugural Chairman of the Children's Oncology Group.


Iron Hill Partners With CureSearch on New Chocolate Peanut Butter Porter

The company is pleased to announce its latest collaboration with CureSearch to help fight childhood cancer. Through its Give 20 program, Iron Hill will donate a portion of the proceeds from selling its new Chocolate Peanut Butter Porter to the organization. Iron Hill will email customized GIVE 20 vouchers to guests requesting the dessert as part of this program. Additionally, the restaurant group will donate $0.75 of each food tab to the nonprofit.

The Iron Hill Brewery has 15 draft taps and a 5,000-square-foot taproom. In addition to the Chocolate Peanut Butter Porter, the brewery offers a line of other products. Pig Iron(r) Porter is one of the brewery's most popular beers. It has a roasted malt flavor and is balanced by a slight bitterness. Another popular beer is the White Iron Wit. This ale is brewed with wheat, oats, and hops.
