HATFIELD - The latest addition to the community is a new restaurant called PJ Whelihan's. The new restaurant will join a few other businesses in Hatfield Pointe. These include Shop Rite, Lowe's, and Wawa. PJW Restaurant Group was founded in 1983 by Bob Platzer, and this will be the company's 20th PJ Whelihan'restaurant in eastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and Connecticut.
The venue features a beer garden and an outdoor boardwalk. Food is available in the pub, including PJ Whelihan's signature Wicked Chicken Nachos, which features crispy tortilla chips, shredded cheddar jack, thinly sliced chicken, and spicy sauce. There are also hand-spun shakes and old-fashioned Philly sandwiches. In addition to food, PJ Whelihan's has a full-service bar.
