PHILADELPHIA, PA - One of Corridor Contemporary’s overarching goals is to introduce Philadelphia artists to an international audience, and vice-versa, to introduce the Philadelphia audience to a wide range of international works. That’s why on Friday, June 3, 2022, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Corridor Contemporary is hosting the opening of its new “Wall To Wall” exhibition.

Corridor Contemporary’s New Street Art Exhibition Features Local And International Artists

The exhibition will run through June and showcase several local, American, and international artists who create works in street art traditions including graffiti, tagging, wheat pasting, and public murals.

Corridor Contemporary sees equal importance in supporting local artists and the Philadelphia art community. The gallery is located in Philadelphia’s culturally vibrant neighborhood, Fishtown, and has a sister gallery located in Tel Aviv, Israel. They simultaneously show exhibitions at the galleries with both locations showcasing a unique selection of works by international figures and artists local to each space.

Corridor Contemporary’s Current Exhibition Is “Welcome To The Jungle” By Taher Jaoui.

The works in the “Wall To Wall” exhibition present a wide-ranging look at various techniques, pictorial languages, and modes of expression in a dynamic interchange between the walls of the street and the gallery walls. Simultaneously, the exhibition examines how each artist translates the vernacular of street art traditions into their studio-born works. The exhibition will showcase works from Seek One, Jason Andrew Turner, Distortedd, King Saladeen, Kenny Scharf, Eric Inkala, Hebru Brantley, Taher Jaoui, and Binsky.
