PHILADEPHIA - Craft Concepts Group and Teddy Sourias continue their expansion in Midtown Village and Center City with the grand opening this weekend of Sueno - a Day of the Dead-inspired restaurant and tequila bar featuring Mexican fusion and traditional dishes.

For this newest project, Sourias continues to invest in the neighborhood and has purchased the property making it three concepts ina row from Finn McCool's to Tinsel to Sueno. Sueno is meant to be a pop-up restaurant as COVID paused plans for a full-scale concept in that space. Sueno will remain open until December 31st at least - and at that time Sourias will decide to keep it and make the restaurant permanent and renovate it fully (and open the third floor) in 2021, or bring in a new full-service concept.

For Sueno, Sourias has tapped the talents of CCG's newest addition to the culinary team, Executive Chef Caroline Hough. Also, he will partner with Tata's Empanadas, and for art, interior pieces have partnered with three regional artists.
